Unfortunately the free belt track is now gone, so as a beginner you get stuck pretty fast. No contribution points to take exams, but also no rights to create questions to earn those points.

I also don’t think commenting gives you any points, at least not automatically. Perhaps if your comment is really good a moderator manually gives you points?

I aggree in all points. But as long as there’s no alternative for a simple one way broadcasting way to keep my friends and my real friends informed about my goings on I’ll stick with the plaque.
For months I’m waiting for diaspora to launch as I expect huge improvements on the privacy site from this community project.

And one short note about the english word “friend” its proper translation to German is “Bekannter”. Unfortunately, the english language has no proper translation for the German word “Freund”. And a “friend” is not neccessarly a “Freund”.

Hey, why not. There are many people out there who dislike such social networks. ;)
For me facebook is practical and easy way to share with my “friends” web pages that i like ;) But in that way Google + is nice alternative. So i’ll just wait till they come over ;)

Yes, I suppose Oracl is on the way to change it. I heard about new price structure of the certifications. Believing some rumors, Oracle force you to take a paid course, before you are allowed to take the exam. That’s the Oracle way, and may be one of the reasons, why Oracle is commercially more sucessful than Sun was…

Does anybody knows where can I download additional language dictionaries for aspell? I haven’t found any Russian dictionaries here: http://packages.debian.org/unstable/text/aspell-en
