Aus der Tatsache, dass Shuron’s Letters auch mit Hilfe von Wordpress publiziert werden ergeben sich interessante Synergieeffekte. Ich lese sein Blog und er meins, und wir suchen beide nach sinnvollen plugins unabhängig voneinander. Die Suche scheint und die Auswahl der Plugins scheint nun doppelt so schnell voran zugehen, weil unser Geschmack in Bezug auf “sinnvoll” wohl sehr ähnlich ist. Dank Shuron’s Einleitung unterstützt mein Blog nun auch mehrsprachige posts mit Hilfe des Polyglot Plugins.

Using some hints from Shuron’s letters I upgraded my Wordpress to actual version. As described in Update your wordpress with one click, I also used WordPress Database Backup plugin. In addition to a single upgrade operation, it also supports scheduled backup of the entire database. After the update I installed a new theme and nice Bib2HTML plugin. Using that I updated the business and research sections, filling the list of own publications and of supervised works.
